from the snow to the beach in a day!

when we found out 

we had orders 

to aviano

i did some

research

and found out 

we were very close

to 

{piancavallo}

a ski resort area

in fact we are about 20-30 minutes from it!

and

we were 

very close 

to the beach

by very close 

i mean within 

a two hour drive

so after

multiple weeks of unpacking boxes

and

a week of rainy weather

on a nice saturday

kenneth and i 

needed to 

"get out of town"

the morning started 

with a bike ride 

to our local bar

it's where we get coffee

we decided to load up 

the pups

and go to the mountains

admiral was ready to roll!

the snow was beautiful.

there were many trails we could take

we just had to watch out for some 

cross country skiers

i even stopped to get in front of the camera!

the morning was perfect

and more snow....

simply breathtaking. 

after a few hours

of

trekking in the snow

of course 

one would only crave

water and the beach

so 

we went

we saw many many dogs!

to stop and look at a map

"where's the car?"

"i think it's over there"

so we follow the leader

into a cave

notice who the leader is.

and after some twists and turns

we find the car.

and say 

so long 

to trieste

knowing

we will see each other 

again 

very soon!
