how to get a dog to pee in a cup

a week ago

the vet handed me this

a cup

and asked me to get urine from him

maik.

my first thought was

"um, so how do i do this exactly?"

and

thanks to facebook

and 

having a hubby 

who is a dog handler

i got my answer

a modified coat hanger

thank goodness i still had a wire hanger

we are in the process of eliminating them!

so this morning

my wonderful hubby

said,

"i will get the urine, babe.

he's my dog."

so 

he set out 

to get urine!

maik wasn't going to have anything to do with this.

i was following kenneth and maik

maik was going at a very quick speed.

he still wasn't going to have anything 

to do with this whole pee in a cup thing

long story short

notice kenneth on his phone

well 

he really needed to go to work

so 

i was the lucky one to get the urine

but

it wasn't that bad

see 

maik and i

have a very different relationship

than

him and kenneth

and 

he doesn't run from me.

within a minute

of 

asking maik 

to 

"take a break"

that's what is his cue to go potty

ta-da!

 i got urine!

woo-hoo!

so 

now you know folks

should your vet ever hand you a cup

use a hanger

and 

you too 

can get a urine sample!
